Adrián Fernández, Owner/Driver -- #51 Tecate/Quaker State/Telmex Honda/Lola/Bridgestone:
Qualified: 11th 25.228 211.051 mph
"The car felt good. It was well balanced. I was flat all the way around the track. I don't think we could have gotten any more out of the car. This is a speedway track and we had one of our qualifying engines in the other car. For some reason, that car did not feel as good as our spare car and we decided to switch. It's a long race tomorrow and hopefully we will be in contention at the end. It is great to be back in England, especially under sunny skies which is great for the fans."

Qualified: 15th 25.300 210.451 mph
"I had a little too much understeer in the car, and I had a problem and lost time in Turn Four. I had a lot of push and had to lift a little bit. We had a problem with the primary car during practice and had to switch to the back-up car. The car felt good this morning on full tanks so I think I have a good car for the race tomorrow."

Tom Anderson, Co-Owner/Managing Director:
"Practice and qualifying in one day obviously puts a lot of pressure on the whole team. You want to be quick in the morning practice as this dictates the qualifying order, and we were at a little bit of a disadvantage there. Both sides were a little bit off the mark this morning. Qualifying was held after the ASCAR practice, which use another brand of tire. The cars that ran later in the qualifying order had a better race track as the track came in with the Bridgestone rubber. A half of a tenth is quite a bit around here as is shown by the qualifying results. I think both cars are extremely strong and I'm looking forward to podium finishes for tomorrow."
