Rodolfo Lavin (R), #5 Corona Competition Team Ford-Cosworth XFE-Reynard-Bridgestone
"My fastest lap from the second run I should have done on the first run and been a little bit quicker on the second run. There was a lot of traffic on the first outing though and it really slowed me down. The Corona car was way better from this morning. We went back to the set-up we had yesterday and the car was just much better. Tomorrow is a very long race, 115 laps, and the weather is going to be like this -- warm and sticky, so at least we know we have a good car for these conditions."
Will mark his ninth Champ Car start, Marks his first Champ Car start at Cleveland, Has four previous starts at the circuit contesting races in Toyota Atlantic (2001 - 2002) and Indy Lights (1996 & 1999)
Darren Manning, (R), #15 RAC Walker Racing Ford-Cosworth XFE-Reynard-Bridgestone
"We got down to a 59.2 earlier in the weekend and basically we haven't gone any faster. I'm slightly disappointed in that. It's just very tough coming to a race track that we haven't tested on. I thought we had a really good car. During testing earlier in the week (at Mid-Ohio) we had the RAC Walker Racing car working really well and we were second fastest in this afternoon's practice session, but the 59.1 I posted in qualifying was just the fastest the car was going to go."
Will be his tenth Champ Car start and ninth with Walker Racing, Has seven top-ten finishes to his credit in nine starts, Currently tenth in the drivers' championship with 42 points and second in the Rookie of the Year standings
