Boys rrom Brazil get excited with race and soccer results.

The boys from Brazil were pretty excited in the Champ Car paddock in Chicago at weekend during the seventh round of the FedEx Championship Series. Although half a world away, Cristiano da Matta, Bruno Junqueira, Tony Kanaan and Christian Fittipaldi found it hard to concentrate with their country's soccer team in the World Cup final against Germany.

The boys got so excited they all decided to shave their head in a similar style to that of Brazil's World Cup hero Ronaldo.

Da Matta, the reigning Honda Indy 300 champion, had an extra reason to celebrate when he took his third consecutive race victory to go to a 25-point lead in the championship.

Junqueira also had a reason to smile after finishing second ahead of 1999 Surfers Paradise winner Dario Franchitti - his beloved Scottish team did not even make it to the World Cup.

All four drivers will be back on Australian shores for this year's Honda Indy 300 which will be held on the streets of the Gold Coast from October 24-27.

The next round of the series will be held in Toronto this weekend.
