Drive-Thru Crew News Target Grand Prix Chicago Motor Speedway - Cicero, Illinois August 19-22, 1999

Circuit: One-mile oval Race: 225 laps/225 miles Broadcast: Sunday, August 22 - ABC 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm EST (Tape Delay)

Sunday Post-Race Quotes:

Tony Kanaan, #44 McDonald's Honda-Reynard - Finished 11th:

"We picked up a couple of points today. We didn't have the best car, but I think we got the most out of it. We had some bad luck in the race. The dash went away and then we had some electrical problem where the car shut off in the middle of the corner. I lost a position which would have put us 10th. We know we struggle on the one-mile ovals. We have to get a better car and we will. We have a lot of time before the next mile oval next year, and we'll be working hard. It's time to go for the fun now. I am really excited about the last five races. Today is done and tomorrow is another day. I am looking forward to Vancouver now."

Steve Horne, Team President:

"We just got more work to do on the one-mile ovals. That's our weakness right now and that's what we need to improve on for the future. I think we've got the other forms of tracks covered, but we have to work on this."

Top-10 Finishers:

1. Juan Montoya 2. Dario Franchitti 3. Jimmy Vasser 4. Max Papis 5. Helio Castro-Neves 6. Patrick Carpentier 7. PJ Jones 8. Bryan Herta 9. Roberto Moreno 10. Robby Gordon
