Tiago Monteiro and Fittipaldi-Dingman Racing ready for Brands Hatch.

The entire Fittipaldi-Dingman Racing team has been busy preparing for the Champ Car World Series event at the famed Brands Hatch track in England.

The team's cars and equipment will be loaded onto the CART transports on Saturday, April 26th and shipped off to England for what should be a very exciting event.

Fittipaldi-Dingman Racing driver Tiago Monteiro is very excited about the upcoming event and is looking forward to making his Champ Car European debut.

"First of all its great to come to Europe! It is really important for us European drivers to be able to satisfy our sponsors and to provide an amazing American show to Europe. Then, Brands has a name of its own! I've never raced there but have heard a lot about it! It's one of the fastest races on earth (not including ovals) and I really think I should like it. It's small but smooth; I think it's going to be a great race. Anyway, I'm glad to be close to my sponsors, family and friends!"

Team owner James Dingman agrees with Emerson and Tiago. "I'm very excited to begin the European leg of the Champ Car World Series. It's a true pleasure to be able to put a team on the grid at such a historical track as Brands Hatch. It should be a wonderful event for us and for the British motor racing fans. I think we'll do well in the race. Tiago is getting better every time he gets in the car and I think Brands Hatch is a track that will suit his driving style. I can't wait to get there and get started."

With the equipment ready to be shipped, the crew is looking forward to a couple of days off before their 13-day European excursion begins on Tuesday with an overnight flight from Indianapolis to England.

The Champ Car experience should be a great one for the fans as in contrast to Formula 1 all the Champ Car drivers will be available to meet the public on Saturday during the autograph session at the Expo Tent.

To watch all the excitement, tune in to CBS Sports, Sunday May 4th at 12:00 p.m. Eastern Time for Qualifying and Saturday May 10th at 1:00 p.m. Eastern Time for the race.
