Sure Bet: You can count on the fact that Jimmy will be running up front at every race this season, his record is proven. Vasser has run into some poor luck in qualifying thus far, mainly due to mechanical issues; his average starting position is 16th. However, the series only active former Champion has proven he can finish up front, no matter where he starts. Vasser has charged through the field to run in the top five in every event. He finished sixth in St. Pete, was running fifth with three laps to go in Mexico before Manning punted him off course, he brought the car home 14th. His fourth place finish at Long Beach gives him an average finishing position of seventh.

Vasser on Brands Hatch:

"It's great to be back at Brands Hatch. I was here several years ago in a Formula Ford and again in an F3 car, you feel the history as soon as you drive through the gate, all of the open wheel legends have raced here. It's going to be fast, and it is going to be physical that is for sure. We are coming a off of a good weekend at Long Beach, the whole team is, and I want to continue to build on that momentum. As a team it's all about momentum, when you are in an upward swing it builds a lot of confidence, it creates an exciting and encouraging atmosphere throughout and that is very important."
