Dan Gurney's all American Racers Toyota power team is optimistic this weekend that they will find the reliability that has been eluding them. They believe that once this is done they can concentrate on make more horse power. They say there is still great deficient on the power end and this is evidenced by the practice times this weekend.

Alex Barron in spite of his crash on Friday afternoon remains the fastest of the team cars at 26.457 (204.377). P.J. Jones was close behind at 26.663 (202.798).

The team has worked diligently this weekend. They were among the first in the garage when it opened this morning.

If the engine holds together the team expects to finish well.
