The practice sessions have continued to improve since Opening Day at the legendary track two weeks ago, culminating today with a one-hour, full-field outing. Tagliani finished the session in P10 and feels that his car is primed for the Indy 500.

"I'm really happy with the Barracuda Racing car," said Tagliani. "It's really good and I know we can race with it. The Barracuda Racing boys did a great job and it's exciting going into the race this way. I don't think we can do anything else. We'll just leave it the way it is and throw some wax on it!

"We've done everything we can this month to put ourselves in a position to win. This racetrack is really unique and very difficult, so there are no guarantees.

We don't want to get too overconfident but I don't think we left anything out there. We have a fast car so hopefully the race will play in our favor. The goal is to just be strong and bring it home."

The fan festivities continue tomorrow with "Legends Day" at IMS. After the Indy 500 breakfast, a full-field autograph session leads into the annual public drivers meeting. Afterwards, the 33 drivers will head downtown for the 500 Festival Parade.

On Sunday, the cannon fires at 5 a.m. to kick off race day. The 97th Running of the Indianapolis 500 Mile Race will take place on Sunday, May 26. The 200-lap race on the legendary 2.5-mile oval will be broadcast live on ABC, with pre-race ceremonies beginning at 11 a.m. ET. Barracuda Racing aims to add another win to the history books.
