Palou just keeps winning...wow
ALEX PALOU IS ON POLE FOR THE 2026 INDIANAPOLIS 500
ALEXANDER ROSSI AND DAVID MALUKAS JOIN HIM ON THE FRONT ROW
Rosenqvist won't even reach the front row!
231.375mph puts him P4
That car does not look stable, dancing around at the exit of the corner
Lap 2 isn't it either...Palou has to be feeling confident now
Slower than Palou and Rossi on Lap 1
Here comes FRO
Can Rosenqvist respond? No one has beaten the Swede today
A flawless, perfect run.
PALOU TO THE TOP!
It's a 232.248mph run
Palou will have to fall off quite a bit for Rossi to hang on
Palou is soaring, this pace is incredible
232.848mph Lap 1...that's the fastest one yet
Palou hits 241mph entering Turn 3!
Here comes Palou...
Rossi won the Indy 500 as a rookie in 2016, but he has never actually started higher than 3rd. At the very least, he will match that today
It's just Alex Palou and Felix Rosenqvist left
Malukas reaches 232mph on Lap 4! Incredible, but it's not quite enough...231.877mph average puts him right behind Rossi
That monster Lap 1 from Rossi may be the difference
He's neck-and-neck with Rossi's pace after three laps!
Malukas goes faster on Lap 2! Very impressive
That's a fast Lap 1 from Malukas, but it's still not Rossi level
David Malukas rolls out as Penske's only shot at the Indy 500 pole
Santino Ferrucci with a 230.846mph average, slotting between Rossi and O'Ward.
We are halfway through Fast 6 Pole Qualifying
Tracking faster than O'Ward but slower than Rossi at the moment
Ferrucci rolls out as AJ Foyt watches on
A four-lap average of 230.442mph for Pato O'Ward, who at least kept it consistent all the way through. Rossi remains in P1.
230, 230, 230...going to need to pick it up if Pato wants to be on the front row.
This will not be a pole run for O'Ward
Pato had to lift on his opening lap
So much shade over the frontstretch and Turn 1 now, which will lower the track temp and make these runs the fastest of the day
Your turn, Pato O'Ward.
Rossi sets the benchmark with a 231.990mph run!
A wiggle at the exit of Turn 2 and while Rossi made an adjustment, there is no lifting
He stays above 232 for Lap 2 and that car looks rock solid
The No. 20 ECR Chevrolet with a 232.568 in an unreal Lap 1!
And it begins! Alexander Rossi rolls out of the pits
