Amesbury, MA. – Just three weeks after returning home from the thrilling finish and victory at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca Dane Cameron and Markus Palttala look to Detroit for round four of the 2014 Tudor United Sports Car Championship. The action begins Thursday as the Turner BMW Z4 is set to practice on the 14-Turn 2.35 mile street course situated on the historic Belle Isle in Detroit Michigan, the only street course on the 2014 GTD schedule.

This race will mark Cameron and Palttala's fourth consecutive race together in the Turner BMW with two 7th place and one 1st place finishes thus far this season. The duo will look to keep their point streak alive as they prepare for the 100 minute race on the tight and technical turns of the Belle Isle street course.

For Dane Cameron, this race will be his second appearance at Belle Isle in GT. In 2012 Cameron finished P8, just a few places behind the No. 94 GT M3 of Bill Auberlen and Paul Dalla Lana in P5. In 2013, both Turner GT class M3s finished inside the top ten.

"I'm really looking forward to getting back into the Turner BMW after our great race at Mazda Raceway. It will be exciting to get back onto street course with our Z4 to see how it stacks up, the car was great in St. Petersburg back in March and I expect the same for Detroit. The course has uneven and varying track and street surfaces so that will make it a challenge, but I'm confident we will come up with the right setup for Saturday," Dane Cameron said.

Detroit will be Palttala's first street course race in North America. "Coming from the win at Laguna Seca, we are all super motivated to do well at Detroit. It's another new circuit for me to learn and looks really challenging as street courses usually are. I'm sure the grip level changes a lot throughout the weekend, so we need to be clever with the setup work."

Be sure to TUNE-IN to the race LIVE from Belle Isle, Detroit on Saturday May 31st at 1:30pm ET on Fox Sports 1. The telecast will include live in-car footage from behind the wheel of the No. 94 Turner BMW Z4.
