Petaluma, CA - TRG-Aston Martin Racing spent the busy month of January living and working from the garages at Daytona and the team's east coast facilities in Charlotte while preparing for the longest and toughest race of the IMSA TUDOR United Sportscar Championship schedule, the Rolex 24 Hours at Daytona.

While the race ended with the team finishing lower than hoped, both the 007 and 009 Aston Martin V12 Vantage GT3 racing machines, along with their drivers and crews, put in a valiant effort with both crossing the finish line following the twice-round-the-clock enduro.

The event also saw a myriad of guests and partners from across North America that enjoyed the sights, sounds, and the “backstage pass” provided by the team. A fantastic time was had by all.

The 12 Hours of Sebring

With the 24 hour race in the rearview mirror, the team is now building towards three massive events coming up in the even busier month of March. Following the Pirelli World Challenge season opener at the famous Circuit of the Americas in Austin, TX comes the grueling and demanding 12 Hours of Sebring the weekend of March 19th - 21st. This race, argued to be the most demanding race in the world for both driver and machine, will see the 007 face off against some of the fiercest competition from around the planet. The TRG-AMR VIP Immersion Experience is available on a very limited basis, so sign up now!

Private testing at Sebring

Immediately following the 12 Hours comes a day of testing both the V12 Vantage GT3 and V8 Vantage GT4 around the famous corners of Sebring. This TRG-AMR exclusive day will feature the opportunity to drive both the Aston Martin racecars along with your high-performance street or track day car. Following this day of fun driving, testing, and camaraderie comes an evening of Adobe Road Wines at the Sebring Gallery of Legends to end the day with fun people and great stories amid the history of the greats who have conquered the trying circuit. Click Here to learn more about these extremely limited testing opportunities. It is a truly unique and incredible experience - we encourage anyone interested to sign up.

The Grand Prix of St. Pete and the Dali Museum

Successive to the Sebring test the team heads to the western coast of Florida for the second race on the Pirelli World Challenge 2015 schedule, the Grand Prix of St. Petersburg. This historic road course offers some of the best views and toughest racing of the season, with TRG-AMR and team partners Carlos and Beverly Yepes teaming to bring one of the most exclusive events of the season.

For this race, the team has secured the exclusive use of the entire Dali Museum, an exquisite structure and St. Petersburg landmark that sits right in a prime viewing location on the circuit and offers an incredible entertaining and hospitality venue for the team and guests.

This unparalleled vantage point comes complete with its own bleachers for outside seating and race viewing, along with unfettered access to the Dali exhibits, the TRG-AMR Hospitality setup, and walking distance to the TRG-AMR paddock and World Challenge pit area. Our guests will be enjoying a fantastic Saturday evening food and wine pairing dinner with one of the top chefs in St. Petersburg. Many exclusive opportunities will be offered to our guests including helicopter rides around St. Petersburg, offering an aerial view of the beautiful city and Grand Prix circuit. Click here for more info.

As if exclusive use of the entire Dali museum and grounds wasn't enough, Carlos and Beverley are hosting an incredible evening of food and Adobe Road Wine in their penthouse atop one of St. Pete's most desirable properties. This stunning residence offers 360 degree views of the entire city, along with an impressive collection of art and unmatched luxury. This invitation-only event is planned for Friday evening and space is extremely limited.

A quick recap of the 24

The race started off in fine fashion with both cars running strong. In the 007, James Davison handed the car off to Christina Nielsen, who put in a flawless double stint for her opening round before handing the car off to teammate Brandon Davis. Sitting comfortably on the lead lap, Davis was finishing his double stint about to hand the car off to Danish driver Christoffer Nygaard before catastrophe struck and the car was taken out of the race by a Ferrari reentering the racetrack after a spin.

The 007 would ultimately finish in P13 after an amazing effort by the crew and drivers to get the car on track and salvage as many championship points as possible. The 009 team of Riddle, Salazar, DeBoer and Wilson did an outstanding job of driving clean, fast, and smart throughout the entire race. The team dealt with only a small electrical issue and finished strongly in P8 after 24 grueling hours, an incredible showing of smart, clean driving and nothing but excellence from both drivers and crew throughout the entire weekend.

Kevin Buckler, CEO, TRG-AMR North America: “March is going to be such a busy month for us - I’m really excited. We’ve got the season-opening Pirelli World Challenge race at COTA followed immediately by our Florida swing for the 12 Hours of Sebring, some more testing at Sebring, and then over to St. Pete for round two of the Pirelli World Challenge season. Throughout this entire month we have some great events and amazing B2B opportunities - we’re really having a magic moment - well, it’s a lot longer than a moment now, but we’re on a hot streak and the momentum just keeps building.

We’ve brought real sponsor/partners to the sport and the team through a ton of hard work, perseverance, and doing what we do best. We’re so much more than a race team and that fact becomes more apparent every day - there were lines around our cars and out of our garages for a reason! We’ve got the coolest cars and now we’re bringing some of the most powerful names and brands to the paddock and offering our partners and guests some of the best business-to-business and relationship building opportunities in existence. The momentum is here and it will just keep growing!”
