Petit Le Mans: ESM Nissan in front after six hours
The finale of the 2017 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship at Road Atlanta, the 10-hour Petit Le Mans, was under its 10th full-course caution at the 6-hour mark and Brendon Hartley led after a strong recovery drive.

Hartley has put in a storming drive to recover from when Chris Miller dropkicked the Nissan into the Turn 10 gravel trap, and he now leads, ahead of that #85 JDC Miller Oreca, now driven by Misha Goikhberg.
In third place is the #31 Action Express Cadillac which led the previous stint in the hands of Dane Cameron but now has Eric Currant at the wheel, holding off Simon Pagenaud in the Penske Oreca, and Christian Fittipaldi in the second AXR Caddy. Bruno Senna runs sixth having taken over the #22 Nissan from Johannes van Overbeek, while Jonathan Bomarito is seventh in the Visit Florida Racing Ligier.
Sadly the Rebellion Oreca is out after Nick Heidfeld had a big shunt with the leading Prototype Challenge car of Kyle Masson and Performance Tech Motorsports exiting Turn 1. The PC car has rejoined several laps down, leaving Garett Grist leading PC for BAR1 Motorsports.
GT Le Mans
After a rash of pitstops during yellows, Mike Rockenfeller leads Marcel Fassler in a Corvette 1-2 currently, chased hard by Joey Hand in the #66 Ford GT, Bill Auberlen in the #25 BMW M6, Earl Bamber’s Porsche 911 RSR, Scott Dixon in the #67 Ford, Patrick Pilet in the second Porsche and Giancarlo Fisichella who put in a stunning drive in the last two green-flag runs.
GT Daytona
The car that seemed to have the legs of everyone in class – the #93 Acura NSX – has been eliminated and caused the 10th caution, when Mark Wilkins tried an outside pass on an uncompromising CORE autosport Porsche 911 driven by Colin Braun. The Acura, recovering from a slow stop, thumped a tire wall and dismantled itself.
That has left Sage Karam leading the class in the #14 Lexus RC F Jorg Bergmeister in the Park Place Motorsports Porsche 911 GT3R, the similar Alegra Motorsports car of Michael Christenson, and the impressive Sheldon van der Linde in the Land Motosport Audi R8.
