Negri and Shank carry speed into second practice session

Michael Shank Racing once again put themselves at the top of the board.

Daytona Beach, FL - The brief 30 minute session saw Michael Shank Racing take their Ligier to the top, chased Action Express once again. The No. 5 was able to get within seven tenths of a second of the leader, but once again failed to match Oswaldo Negri Jr, who is still the only driver to drop below a 1:40. Krohn Racing placed third quickest in their new prototype venture.

Colin Braun and the No. 54 CORE Autosport Oreca crew led the way in PC. In GTLM, Corvette has asserted themselves with Oliver Gavin laying down the fastest lap. Jeroen Bleekmolen gave the Riley Viper a good showing, topping the charts in GTD.

The session went incident-free. Qualifying begins with the GTD cars at 4pm ET.
