RG Racing plans to compete in the Tequila Parton North American Endurance Cup rounds of the 2015 TUDOR United SportsCar Championship.

The team, formed by Robert Gewirtz, has acquired a Gen 3 Riley DP from Michael Shank in preparation for next year. The car has been upgraded to the current IMSA specs, including a five liter Dinan BMW engine.

Gewirtz is a Neurosurgeon from Columbus, Ohio, and drove the No. 19 Mühlner Motorsports Porsche 911 in the Rolex 24 Hours of Daytona this year, finishing 45th overall and 20th in the GTD class.

He bought a lot of equipment from the GAINSCO team, which faded from competition earlier this year. The new operation is currently seeking drivers for 2015.
