The Daytona International Speedway will feature major upgrades and a new facility for the 2016 Daytona 24 Hours.
The plans were announced at the annual Le Mans Press Conference this morning.
Speaking of the changes to DIS, Lesa France Kennedy, CEO of ISC and Vice Chairperson of NASCAR said: "We will have five new entrances in to the facility with 20,000 square feet of fan engagement areas, experience immersion space and three main concourse areas. New areas will feature bistros and interactive areas.
"We are building for the next 50 years."
IMSA Chairman Jim France was also in attendance at the Press Conference, as was IMSA President and COO Scot Atherton.
