Buffalo Grove, IL (December 5, 2013) - Fall-Line Motorsports has been hard at work since the checkered flag dropped on the 2013 season and has been focused on building the best possible team for 2014. Today, Fall-Line has another exciting announcement with the addition of Shelby Blackstock to the Continental SportsCar Challenge (CTSCC) GS program.

Blackstock's path to sports car racing has been very different from many of his competitors. He began just over three years ago, honing in his skills at the Bob Bondurant and Skip Barber racing schools and quickly developing his craft along with a deep-rooted passion for motorsports. Blackstock began competing in the CTSCC series in 2011 and led his first laps in a GS car at the season-opener at Daytona International Speedway. In his three years of CTSCC competition, Blackstock has earned one pole position, one top-five finish, and one podium. Residing in Charlotte, NC., Blackstock is now 23 years old and looking for that first elusive CTSCC victory.

Blackstock will be driving one of Fall-Line's BMW M3s which have been the car of choice for the team since their first year of CTSCC competition in 2006. Co-driver and sponsors will be announced ahead of the first official event of 2014, the Roar Before the ROLEX 24 at Daytona International Speedway in early January.

Shelby Blackstock: "I am very excited to be joining Fall-Line Motorsports for the 2014 season! They have proven time and time again to be a top team in the GS class and I hope to get some wins with them this season. I want to thank Michael Harvey and the entire team at Fall-Line for giving me this opportunity. I can't wait to start the season off in Daytona!"

Michael Harvey, Fall-Line Motorsports Team Manager: "I am extremely excited to have Shelby driving a Fall-Line BMW for 2014. We have closely followed his progress over the past few seasons and he has greatly impressed us with his speed and progression. We feel his first CTSCC win is just around the corner and look forward to it being in a Fall-Line BMW. Shelby will add strength to our lineup as we look to contend for many wins and a Championship in 2014."
