Daytona Prototype goes airborne in Roar testing

Byron DeFoor was behind the wheel at the time of the crash.

The No. 50 Fifty Plus Racing Endures for a Cure/Highway to Help Race Team Riley BMW has had a massive airborne accident at Daytona, ending Saturday morning's test.

The driver, Byron DeFoor, was been taking to the infield car center but has since been released, via IMSA. According to tweets from drivers and witnesses, the car left the ground backwards in the tri-oval. It then flew 100 yards or so before landing on its roof. It did get a piece of the catch-fencing.
