Daytona Beach, Fla. – Michael Shank Racing with Curb/Agajanian is dedicated to performance, and the team is pleased to announce new partnership with a like-minded organization as Advanced Arch Grilles has joined the team as an associate partner for the 2014 IMSA TUDOR United SportsCar Championship season.

Michael Shank Racing with Curb/Agajanian is set to open the 2014 season this weekend at Daytona International Speedway with the 52nd running of the Rolex 24 At Daytona.

Like many of the partnerships that team Mike Shank has established ahead of the history-making inaugural 2014 TUDOR season, the program with Advanced Arch Grilles grew out of a long standing relationship with a member of the MSR family. Like the race team, the firm also shares an intense focus on a very specialized market, having emerged as the industry choice for architectural grilles, linear bar grilles, perforated metal grilles, decorative grilles, architectural metal work, metal components, and decorative hardware.

“We have a strong and long-standing presence in the Northeast, and as we look to improve our marketing efforts in other parts of the country, we wanted to build on our relationship with the team to increase the marketing focus,” said Dan Roeper, President, Advanced Arch Grilles. “With the schedule that IMSA has in 2014, this was a good time for us to partner with Michael Shank Racing and we are very excited about this new season.

Beyond the marketing opportunity that this presents, we have also followed this team for a long time and respect the way that Mike (Shank) works and the entire identity of the team. We’ve known Ozz (Negri) for years and this just grew out of that relationship. We could not be more excited.”

The team will look for a second run to victory in North America’s greatest endurance challenge this weekend as the next chapter in sportscar racing is written.

“This is a great example of the momentum that this new series has from a marketing point of view,” said team owner Mike Shank. “We’ve got a great opportunity. Ozz has known and worked with Dan (Roeper) for a long time and it was great to have that grow into this relationship with the team. We want to do a great job for Advanced Arch Grilles and we are looking forward to having them out with us at some of the races this year.”

The team will be in action January 23-26 at Daytona International Speedway as the IMSA TUDOR United SportsCar Championship kicks off with the Rolex 24 At Daytona. Tune in LIVE on Fox starting at 2:00 PM ET on Saturday, January 25.
