Adam drafted in for Daytona debut

Aston Martin GT ace Jonny Adam is set to contest his first race in the US after a late call up for the Rolex 24 at Daytona this weekend (January 25-26).
The Scotsman got the shout from TRG Aston Martin Racing having tested with the squad previously and passed with flying colours.
Adam will join fellow Scot Calum Lockie as well as Robert Nimkroff, Peter McIntosh and Max Riddle in the #009 V12 Vantage to contest the GTD class in the 52nd edition of the famous race at the Daytona International Speedway.
"It will be nice to finally make my US race debut as I've tested over there a few times now. I couldn't believe how many people turned up to watch that, so the atmosphere should be amazing come race weekend.
"TRG are a really professional outfit and have had plenty of success in the past with other marques, and I'm looking forward to helping them do the same now they are an Aston Martin team.
"We've got a great mix of youth and experience in the line-up which is ideal. Our recent three day test was very productive so there is good baseline setup to work with, and if we can keep our nose clean early in the race I believe we can challenge for a strong result in our class."
The Daytona 24 - which will be the inaugural race for TUDOR United SportsCar Championship combining the newly unified GRAND-AM Rolex Sports Car Series and the American Le Mans Series - will be the first outing in what is set to be a busy season for the in-demand Camberley-based driver.
The 29-year-old is likely to supplement his commitments to Aston Martin Racing and Beechdean Motorsport with selected appearances in other major championships, with confirmation of his full 2014 schedule expected to be confirmed upon his return from Daytona.
