TERRY MACDONALD-CADIEUX UPDATE -- Terry MacDonald-Cadieux continues to recover from injuries incurred in an incident during the SPEEDVISION Cup race at Road Atlanta. Terry suffered two fractures of the C-2 vertebrae and is wearing a halo to stabilize the injury. Following is a letter she asked to be published in SportsCarFax:

Dear Friends, Competitors & Fans, We have something special here and few may ever realize it. But I had a chance to experience it through my accident at Road Atlanta. I would have never imagined how special our family of racers, the staff and fans at SportsCar could be. You people have blessed me so much. I have received so may telephone calls, flowers, cards, baskets, and even a teddy bear. All of which made me laugh, smile and feel so special, so loved. I know mere words could never express my feelings of gratitude, but I am so thankful to all of you. The prayers that went up truly helped. I feel God’s power and His healing strength with me daily. Even the doctors say my neck is healing quickly and I may get the halo removed after six weeks. I stopped taking pain pills four days after my accident. Following prayer at my church the second Sunday after the accident, I was able to sleep the entire night in a bed. (Prior to that, I spent the night sitting/sleeping in a chair.) I just want to thank all of you for your concern, care and love. We have a very special family here and I am proud to be apart of it.

Thank you, Terry MacDonald-Cadieux.
