Motorsport.com to webcast IMSA Prototype Lites races and other events
Signature MSAP signs agreement with Motorsport.com for race broadcasts and productions. The Cooper Tires Prototype Lites powered by Mazda will be the initial series to launch the new agreement.
ORLANDO, FLORIDA (April 22nd, 2013) – Signature MSAP, an international motorsports and automotive production company, has signed a multi-year deal for the distribution of produced video content including race broadcasts, motorsports and automotive productions, news and special features with Motorsport.com, a Net Element International, Inc. (NASDAQ: NETE) company.
Signature MSAP (www.signaturemsap.com) and Motorsport.com’s relationship will begin with the exciting prototype development series, the Cooper Tires Prototype Lites powered by Mazda, and will expand to include other additional race series, news features and an exciting “behind the wall” race production titled Center of Pressure.
“We are excited to be working with motorsport.com and their devoted following of motorsports fans,” said Matt Tarleton, President of Signature MSAP. “The broadcast industry is shifting more to the on-demand broadband delivery platform of video and programming. Our relationship with Motorsport.com will deliver race broadcasts and special content without geographic limitation to a world of motorsports fans on the device of their choice.”
Initial broadcasting will begin with the Signature MSAP race broadcasts of the Cooper Tires Prototype Lites Powered by Mazda from Laguna Seca including extended cuts and special features. Other broadcasts and productions will be added throughout the year and promoted by Signature MSAP and Motorsport.com via traditional and social media.
“We’re really thrilled with this agreement, as it’s a clear sign of where Motorsport.com is headed as a multi-content platform for motor racing,” said Motorsport.com Art Director Eric Gilbert. “Motorsport.com has been known for a decade as a top destination for up-to-the minute news and editorial content as well as its amazing photo library. Two years ago, we started integrating video content to our platform and it was just a matter of time before we started web streaming race events. There is a clear convergence in the media industry and content distribution is getting more and more ‘interest-based’ rather than ‘media-based’ and our ultimate goal at Motorsport.com is to make our platform the one-stop destination for everything motor racing, regardless of the type of content. This deal with Signature MSAP to web stream the IMSA Lites series (and other content) is definitely a perfect fit with our strategic vision.”
Signature MSAP, Inc. has experienced tremendous growth and success over the past 5 years and has grown to become a recognized International motorsports and automotive production company with programming and productions in over 42 countries worldwide. Motorsport.com is one of the GLOBAL Top 10 most visited International motorsports websites with over 500,000 visitors monthly and continues to expand their global reach.
