The Make-A-Wish Pole Award now awards $3,000 to the Exxon World SportsCar Championship pole winner at each race, up from $1,000. In addition, the contribution to the local Make-A-Wish chapter goes from $4,000 to $7,000. The year-end award, which goes to the driver winning the most pole positions, is $10,000 and includes a trophy.

The Make-A-Wish Pole Award is sponsored by Team MSI and is made possible in part by Team MSI sponsors including Winchester, PVS Chemicals and Ryder.
