West Race Cars dominate Lites 2 at ALMS Mid-Ohio Event
Lancaster, Ohio -- The second IMSA Lites double header event at Mid-Ohio was dominated by West cars finishing in the top 3 positions in the Lites 2 category for both races. West customer Dan McBreen from PVM Motorsports won both races from the pole this weekend in his Kawasaki powered, West WR1000 chassis.
Said double race winner McBreen, " The track conditions were challenging but the West chassis worked great and I was able to hold off some great competition to take the checkered in both races."
West President Ben Odenborg said, "I've known Dan as both a competitor and as a customer and all I have to say is I'm glad he's on our side now." Conditions were very challenging this weekend with the cold and rain. Dan rose to occasion against a strong, competitive field and even managed to finish 2nd overall in race one."
PVM Motorsports is Paul Parker, Eric Vassian and Dan McBreen and together they are the dominant supplier of prototype sports racecars in the southeastern United States.
