Trevose, PA January 5, 2000 . . . The biography of legendary driver, Davey Allison, as told by his widow, Liz and journalists David Green and Thomas Pope is scheduled to be released in late March, 2000. FULL CIRCLE-THE STORY OF DAVEY ALLISON has been two years in the making and is an intimate portrait of Davey and who he was - racecar driver, son, husband and father. Liz Allison has spent countless hours making sure the book, approximately 168 pages with a 16 page color insert -"The Allison Family Album"- was just right before the manuscript was finalized. The book tells the love story between Liz and Davey. It is a wonderful story. And there is the story of Davey Allison the racer and his incredible and all too short, career in racing. The color pictures in the "family album" are worth the price of the book alone. Included is a foreword by NASCAR's Bill France, Jr. and a wonderful Preface by his dad, the legendary Bobby Allison. Each chapter is introduced by Liz and she shares so many wonderful and warm moments of her life with Davey. There are those who say that Davey Allison, had he lived, would have possibly been the greatest NASCAR Winston Cup driver in history. We will never know. But the book may have you agreeing by the time you have read the final page.
