"With the help of Alan, we are looking forward to a great 2005 Falken Tire Pikes Peak International Hill Climb and continued success well into the future," said Falken Tire Pikes Peak International Hill Climb Chairman Mike Cimino. "Alan's level of professionalism and personal drive to succeed will be of great benefit to the Falken Tire Pikes Peak International Hill Climb."

As the new Director of Sales and Marketing, Schell brings more than 10 years of marketing and communications experience in motorsports. Most recently, he was the marketing and advertising director for several motorcycle dealerships in Las Vegas, Nevada and Denver, Colorado.

"I'm very fortunate to join the Falken Tire Pikes Peak International Hill Climb team at a time when there is a transformed and exhilarating spirit of support and enthusiasm for this historic event," said Schell. "I grew up going to the event and am extremely eager to play an active role in making this event bigger and better in 2005 and for many years to come. There is a tremendous opportunity and value for all sponsors involved and I am looking forward to enhancing this world famous event well into future."

Schell, a graduate of Western State College in Gunnison, CO with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration and Marketing, has held several key sales, marketing, and promotional positions within the racing community including G Force (a top chassis manufacturer for the Indy Racing League), Chesrown Racing (competing in several NASCAR sanctioned series), the Richard Petty Driving Experience, and the Las Vegas Motorsports Group.
