The inaugural Blancpain GT Series having come to an exciting and successful conclusion with the Baku World Challenge this weekend, the SRO Motorsports Group has released the complete 2015 Blancpain GT Series calendar.

With new and exciting locations for the Blancpain Sprint Series and the introduction of prize money for the Blancpain Endurance Series, 2015 looks set to be another exciting season for the biggest GT series on the motorsports planet.

Fifth season of Blancpain Endurance Series sees introduction of significant prize money

To encourage the teams to participate in all 12 races of the Blancpain GT Series, the prize fund for the season will be increased considerably, with 100.000 euros per round of both the Sprint and Endurance Series. Teams that enter the complete Blancpain GT Series are eligible for the full prize money, with 50% being paid to teams entered only in the Sprint or Endurance Series.

This brings the total of the SRO Prize Fund to 1.3 million euros, in addition to the event support starting fees of 1.45 million euros for the Moscow and Baku events, bringing the total support to the Blancpain GT Series teams to an unprecedented total of 2.75 million euros.
