Norwich, UK, Friday 1st August 2003: The all-British driver line up of Phil Andrews and Justin Keen will be hoping for a podium finish for GKN Driveline-backed Taurus Sports at the British round of the FIA Sportscar Championship, which takes place on Saturday 9th August at Donington Park. The car will be representing British hopes in the Championship with its Lola chassis, Judd engine and Dunlop tyres, race prepared by Taurus Sports at their unique facility near Norwich.

The Lola B2K/10b finished third in its previous outing at Monza and will be looking to go even better at their home race. The team are in a positive frame of mind as the car performed better than expected at the Italian track, which was not suited to their car, and see the Donington Park round as their best chance of the season to take victory.

Birmingham-based Phil Andrews and Epping-based Justin Keen have both won races at Donington Park in a variety of Formulas and their superior circuit knowledge will give the team an extra advantage with set-up, qualifying and the race on Saturday evening.

Ian Dawson, Team Proprietor and Race Director:
"We are a truly British entry, with a British chassis, engine and tyres along with British drivers Phil Andrews and Justin Keen. I am pleased that Justin is back driving with us at Donington Park, we have worked closely with our drivers to maintain the consistency of our original line-up. We are looking forward to racing at Donington which I believe is a track best suited to our car. We know what the car and drivers are capable of and are hoping to achieve our best finish of the season on home soil."

Phil Andrews, Driver:
"I'm really looking forward to the Donington race for many reasons. After our podium finish in Monza, on a circuit that didn't really suit our car, I can see no reason why we can't repeat that result or even better. The team put on a great show in Italy and that bodes well for our home race. I began my racing career at Donington Park and it is always nice to go back there, it's genuinely one of the best circuits in the world. Our sponsors, ConeKt/TRW, GKN Driveline and Dunlop are all local companies and so we are guaranteed fantastic support from them, and from friends and family."

Justin Keen, Driver:
"It will be good for me to race in the UK, the past couple of years I have mainly competed in Europe. The track, with its slow corners, will suit our car better than any of the other circuits we have raced at this year, especially with the improvements that have been made to the car throughout the season. Both Phil and myself have a very good knowledge of Donington Park. We know the secrets, which should help with the set-up and give us an advantage on the track. It will be extra nice to get a good finish and we are hoping to be on the podium."

The fifth round of the FIA Sportscar Championship takes place at Donington Park during the evening of Saturday 9th August.
