Carmen Jorda will return to racing this weekend when she competes in the Renault Sport Trophy series at the Motorland Aragon circuit.
The Spanish driver, a Renault Sport brand ambassador, has not competed since losing her seat in the GP3 series after the Monza race in 2014.
Jorda was a development driver for the Lotus F1 team last year.
She will team up with two-time class winner of the 24 Hours of Dubai Jordan Grogor at the V8 Racing team, which got two wins in the inaugural Renault Sport Trophy season in 2015.
The team took a win in the Prestige class - now known as AM - with Diederik Sijthoff. It is as of yet unclear whether Jorda will compete in the PRO or AM category.
A total of 28 cars will compete at Aragon this weekend.
