GP3, F3 graduates headline Lamborghini's GT3 junior programme

Lamborghini has announced that 19 drivers will feature in its GT3 junior squad in the upcoming motorsport season.

The drivers will pilot the Lamborghini Huracan GT3 in a variety of sportscar championships, among them Blancpain GT, IMSA and Germany's ADAC GT Masters.

Among the headlining names are Lamborghini Super Trofeo champion Patrick Kujala and former GP3 colleague Patric Niederhauser, the former set to run in in ADAC GT Masters and the latter - in Blancpain GT with Attempto alongside Daniel Zampieri and Fabio Babini.

Max van Splunteren and Jeroen Mul will likewise race an Attempto Huracan GT3 in Blancpain, partnered by ex-GP2 champion Davide Valsecchi.

Also on board in the junior program are European F3 graduates Michele Beretta and Nicolas Pohler, as well as Italian F3 and Italian Porsche Carrera Cup champion Riccardo Agostini.

Finally, former Formula Nippon driver Kei Cozzolino will represent the GT3 junior scheme in Super GT.
