Buntingford, Herts based CMS, who campaigned the factory MG LMP 675 prototype cars at Le Mans during 2001 and 2002, will be fielding their Chrysler Viper GT car in the prestigious British GT Championship during the 2003 season. The 600 bhp monster will be driven by the first ever all girl driver team.

The driver line-up includes Amanda Stretton, well known TV presenter, currently fronting Channel 5's "Dream Machines", who competed in the 2002 ASCAR championship, Vickie Butler Henderson ITV's BTCC pit lane commentator and 5th Gear presenter and Annie Templeton, successful businesswoman, and competitor in the 2002 British Touring Car Championship.

CMS General Manager John Allen says; "We see this as a great opportunity for talented female drivers to compete in our National major championship. The challenge ahead, though is significant, because our ultimate goal is to get an all girl team to Le Mans. Our business partners such as Harrier Zeuros have already shown a great deal of interest in the project and we are hopeful that we will capture the imagination and support of others including key organisations such as the BRDC".

The championship, and the press will get their first glimpse of the team at the British GT championship media day at Silverstone, Northants, on 27th March.
