Scotland proves a success for Aaron Scott

Surrey race ace Aaron Scott (www.aaronscott.co.uk) and his Master Motorsport team mate Steven Brady were at Knockhill in Scotland for Rounds 3 & 4 of the British GT Championship last weekend (May 10-11th) .

The duo qualified in 11th place for the first race of the weekend with both drivers feeling that they had not found the car's true potential. Brady started the race and then handed the car to Aaron Scott for his competitive British GT debut. This handover allowed Scott to take the Ultima to 7th place and secure the first points of the season for the Master Motorsport team.

In the second race of the weekend, Brady started once more but handed the car over whilst in 8th position. With Aaron Scott at the wheel, the Ultima then climbed to 6th place to secure another helping of points for the Omnico backed team.

Aaron Scott said, "I'm delighted to win our first points of the season. The whole team have worked really hard and deserve this success. Although there were still minor problems in both races, we are confident of resolving these and look forward to the next round at Silverstone, where the track should particularly suit the Ultima. I have personally learnt a lot from this weekend and feel confident for the rest of the season."

The next round of the British GT Championship takes place at Silverstone on May 25, where the team will be facing the pressures of a three hour long race.
