Tim Cowen Starts 2004 Season With AGT at Mosport
Perrysville, OH- Tim Cowen [number 75 Cowen Truck Lines Mustang] the 2002 SCCA GT-1 National Champion will make his first professional event start of 2004 in the American GT Challenge event at Mosport during the Victoria Day weekend May 21-23. Cowen will participate in pro events only for 2004, no longer attending the SCCA Club races.
"I am looking forward to racing at Mosport and competing in the AGT," Cowen remarked. "I am excited about the new series and look forward to being a part of it."
The Cowen Truck Lines Mustang was extensively prepared over the winter. The May event at Mosport is an opportunity for Cowen and his crew to get started in 2004. "This is a good way to start the season," said Tim. "The race has a nice field entered, it should be fun."
The Mosport event will begin Cowen's schedule of AGT events. Cowen anticipates participating in AGT races throughout the summer. Schedule permitting, Cowen will compete in the August and September events for AGT.
"I think the AGT is off to a good start. These guys are doing a nice job," Cowen stated.
