Wilton, CT- The American GT Challenge has announced the first of many AGT series sponsors for 2004. Garden Iron, LLC will join the AGT as a sponsor of the top three race qualifiers at each event on the 2004 schedule. Each of the top three race qualifiers will be honored with the Garden Iron Hammer Down Award.
The awards from Garden Iron will include both a prize money fund along with a custom unique trophy for each of the recipients. The partnering of Garden Iron as a series sponsor is a first for the company.

The American GT Challenge will open its inaugural season at South Carolina Motorsports Park in Kershaw, South Carolina April 10 through 11th. The American GT Challenge uses purpose built tube frame chassis cars, power by a V-8 & V-6 engine, with composite bodies, replicating series produced American touring or grand touring cars.
