THE ALL CALIFORNIA TEAM READY FOR THE NY STATE BATTLE!

Los Angeles, June 4, 2007: The all California Luggage Express Team Sigalsport BMW is ready for the second endurance challenge of the season, the Sahlen's Six Hours of The Glen to be run next Saturday, June 9 at the mythical Watkins Glen International Raceway. The three California drivers, Matt Alhadeff from Los Angeles; Bill Auberlen from Redondo Beach and Joey Hand from Sacramento, have a total of 26 Rolex Series victories (overall and GT class wins) and will definitely be one of the overall win contenders for this weekend's race in New York. The trio prepared for that race a month ago at Buttonwillow and the Los Angeles based Luggage Express team feels ready for this battle.

The Sahlen's Six Hours of The Glen is a mini Rolex 24 at Daytona. Last February, the Luggage Express Team Sigalsport BMW did extremely well in the Rolex 24 and they ran in the top three after six hours. This six hour race can be seen as a redemption race for Auberlen and Alhadeff who were not able to finish the race at Daytona because of an accident.

"Our team is ready for this new challenge" announced Luggage Express Team Sigalsport BMW owner Gene Sigal. "Our drivers like that type of long endurance challenge. During the Rolex 24 we ran in the top three for many hours before the accident. If everything goes well and we are lucky, Matt, Bill and Joey can play a role in this coming race. We have a great engine chassis package and we want to do well at the Glen. The V8 Dinan BMW engine has shown great endurance strength at the Rolex 24 and I am sure it will be the same at the Glen." added Sigal. "We recently hired Joey Hand to co-drive with Bill and Matt. Bill and Joey have been BMW drivers for years and work extremely well together and with Matt, we have a strong driver's lineup. We' d like to give all our sponsors a chance to see our team run at the front of the pack and if luck is on our side this time, we will aim for a podium finish" declared Gene Sigal.

This race will mark Joey Hand's first racing experience in a Daytona Prototype car and will be his second race with Sigalsport BMW. Hand co-drove a BMW M3 GT last year at the Six Hours of the Glen with Alhadeff and Auberlen. With 14 podium finishes in two seasons, including six GT class wins, Hand is one of the most successful Grand-Am Rolex Sports Car Series drivers. Hand claimed his first Rolex Series GT victory at Watkins Glen in 2004.

Following that New York race, the Luggage Express Team Sigalsport BMW will move into their Indianapolis race shop for the summer. Six Grand-Am Rolex Sports Car series races, Mid-Ohio, Daytona, Iowa, Alabama, Montreal and Watkins Glen are scheduled in less than two months and the Sigalsport team, like all the other DP teams, will be on the road traveling between races and won't have an opportunity to breathe until their return to California in mid-August.

The Sahlen's Six Hours of the Glen will be broadcast live on Speed TV at 11:00 AM ET on Saturday, June 9.
