Law, Donohue and Brumos Porsche Looking to Ride Wave of Momentum into CompUSA 200 at Watkins Glen
August 10, 2005 -- Grand American Rolex Sports Car Series regulars Darren Law, David Donohue and the entire Red Bull Brumos Porsche team are looking to continue a series of strong performances as they take to the track for the CompUSA 200 at Watkins Glen International Raceway this Thursday and Friday. The 200-mile event marks the 9th round of the 14 race 2005 Rolex Grand American schedule and will be held in the early evening hours of August 12th.
The #58 Red Bull Brumos Porsche team has had a string of good finishes over the past few events, and the momentum is having a positive effect on both the drivers and the crew.
"We've had a couple of really encouraging weekends lately," remarked Brumos team driver Law. "We seem to be improving each race, and are beginning to run closer and closer to the front. We'll just try to stay out of trouble this weekend and see if we can't get a good finish out of the weekend."
Practice for the CompUSA 200 will be begin at 11 AM ET on Thursday the 11th and will be the first time that the Daytona Prototypes and GT class cars will be on track for practice at the same time. The race is scheduled to start at 6 PM ET August 12th, and same day coverage on the SPEED Channel will begin at 10 PM ET.
