WATKINS GLEN, N.Y., June 18 - The Bell Motorsports/Kodak EasyShare DORAN JE4 Pontiac #54 moved up four spots from its best time in the morning practice session in a shorter practice session Friday afternoon at Watkins Glen International. The team and drivers Terry Borcheller, Forest Barber and Andy Pilgrim are entered in Sunday's Sahlen's Sports Car Grand Prix Rolex series race.
The team was 14th fastest in the morning practice session with a lap in 1:51.432 (109.843 mph). It was tenth fastest overall in the afternoon with a 1:50.428 (110.841 mph).
The SunTrust Racing Riley Pontiac of Max Angelelli and Wayne Taylor was fastest in both sessions, with its best lap being a 1:45.829 (115.658 mph).
One more hour of practice remains tomorrow morning before qualifying at 1:25 p.m. Saturday afternoon.
The six-hour race starts at 11 a.m. Sunday. It will be broadcast on SPEED live from 11 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. and 3 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. All times are Eastern.
