Grease Monkey Racing Leads SGS Class in Practice 2 at VIR.

Los Angeles, Ca., October 1, 2004--- Fresh off their best result of the year, a second in SGS two weeks ago at Homestead, Grease Monkey Racing carried that momentum to Virginia, where they topped the second practice session in SGS for Sunday's VIR 400. Harrison Brix and Gene Sigal, piloting the #04 Sirius Satellite Radio, Deutsche Post, and Nextel Communications 2004 Porsche GT3 turned a best time of 2:00.833 to lead the 12 cars in the SGS class in the second of Friday's practice sessions. The duo from Southern California drove an incredible race at Homestead to earn Grease Monkey Racing^Òs first ever podium in Rolex Grand-Am Series.

Qualifying is on tap tomorrow, and Jean Marchioni, Grease Monkey Racing's Team Manager is confident for the rest of the weekend. ^ÓSo far the weekend has been flawless, the car ran great the minute we unloaded. Gene and Harrison did a great job in practice and we are looking forward to tomorrow. Our main concern is winning the race, but Pole would be a great reward for Eduardo and the rest of the crew who have done an amazing job all season. We will change a few things before qualifying and get ready for the race in tomorrow^Òs practice session,^Ô said Marchioni.
