Topic: You have about three weeks off before heading to Laguna Seca for Race #5, what do you plan to do during this rare time off?
Scott Pruett: "It has certainly been a busy past week -- between racing in the No.01 TELMEX car and No.40 Fastenal Nationwide car and then coming home for a short stop followed by another race weekend in Virginia, it's certainly been busy. I'll actually be leaving VIR to attend a Lexus event in Canada for a few days next week, so there is not a lot of R&R in the immediate future. Of course, when I'm home and have a break from the traveling, I really appreciate using that time to spend with Judy and the kids. Certainly, the vineyard keeps me busy as well. Also, with Racing through the Alphabet practically finished, the promotion and activities for the book will add to my list of things to accomplish during my three weeks off. It does go by quickly!"
Memo Rojas: "One of my best friends is actually getting married in the city of Torreon, Mexico, so I plan on attending the wedding. Apart from that, working out and focusing hard on the championship are what will take up my time."
Topic: What are your feelings about returning to VIR, especially as a veteran and second-timer, respectively, at the track?
Scott Pruett: "I'm looking forward to heading back to VIR. We've had consistent runs at the track in the past, and a victory with Luis (Diaz) a few years ago, so it's definitely going to be nice to be back as Memo has track time under his belt this year. The momentum is on our side, so I'm focused on putting the No.01 TELMEX Lexus car back into victory lane for 2008."
Memo Rojas: "I know the track now, and I know the car much better as well as the competition. We were very quick last year, but things didn't go well last year. If we stay out of trouble we should be able to have a good result."
