MULTIMATIC MOTORSPORTS READY TO RACE ON HOME TURF
16 Ford Mustang Boss 302R Markham, Ontario (August 11, 2010) - After a three-week break in the Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge schedule the Multimatic Motorsports Ford Mustang Boss 302R squad is ready to return to action at what is considered their home event - the Grand Prix de Trois-Rivières.
The August 13 race is the only Canadian event on the 2010 schedule and even if the track is located more than 400 miles east of the Multimatic Motorsports facility, the Markham, Ontario-based team is looking forward to racing for Canadian pride in front of an enthusiastic homeland crowd.
With two events left in the 2010 season, Multimatic Motorsports will be looking to cap the season off with strong results and show the true potential of the Ford Racing Mustang Boss 302R, but it won't be an easy task considering the condensed schedule at Trois-Rivières.
Practice, qualifying and the two-hour race for the GS Class are all taking place on the same day. Adding to the challenge is the fact that the race will be starting at 7:00 p.m. ET with the checkered flag coming out after darkness has started to fall.
15 Mustang Boss 302R While Scott Maxwell, Joe Foster and Gunnar Jeannette will be able to count on their past experience on the 1.521-mile, 10-turn street circuit, the team's rookie Frankie Montecalvo will have to learn the track quickly as he will be making his debut.
Montecalvo and teammates will be on track August 13 at 12:15 p.m. ET for a 30-minute practice, which will be followed by a 40-minute practice at 1:25 p.m. ET. The 15-minute qualifying session for the Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge GS Class will take place at 4:25 p.m. ET.

"Scott and I have some unfinished business at Trois-Rivières, the last time we were there in 2008 we had some transmission problems after starting from the front row.
"I really love that track. It's the type of place where it's kill or be killed. Plus nobody gets to test there so it makes things even more interesting and we will be starting the race at dusk and it will be dark by the end of the race so I'm looking forward to it.
Scott Maxwell, #15 Ford Mustang Boss 302R
"It's our only Canadian stop and historically it's always been a great event with a big crowd and a great atmosphere and a lot of tradition. So I really enjoy racing in Trois-Rivières and I am looking forward to it.
"It's going to be a really tight schedule with everything in one day. It puts the emphasis on the fact that you want to roll off the trailer with a well-sorted car. But you won't really know how it will translate until you hit the track. That's going to be the key, making sure you have a good car right from the first practice session. I'm sure it's going to make for a really interesting day."

"I think it is going to be a challenging race day for me. I've never been to the Trois-Rivières track and no matter how much time I spend looking at videos to learn the layout, nothing beats getting track time behind the wheel of the car. The problem for this race is that there isn't much track time available and everything is happening in the same day. So it will be a very busy day but I am looking forward to it."

"I'm excited to go back to Trois-Rivieres, it's been a while since I have raced there. It's a one-day event for us so it is going to be pretty tough with two short practices, qualifying and then the race. Last year the race ended at night and I don't think they had any lights set up so I think that is going to be extremely difficult but very interesting at the same time."
