Sullivan Sports Marketing Retained by Grand American Road Racing Association

Daytona Beach, Fla. (October 30, 2003) --Grand American Road Racing Association announced today that it has retained Sullivan Sports Marketing, LLC, a leading sports and entertainment consulting firm based in Daytona Beach, Fla., to enhance the sanctioning body's marketing partnerships and brand development.

Under the direction of President Greg Sullivan, SSM will provide Grand American with strategic guidance and planning for the sanctioning body's sponsorship, marketing, brand management and business development.

SSM was founded by Sullivan in 2002; the company has emerged as a leading marketing consultancy in the motorsports industry. This year, SSM will contract over $800 million in marketing rights on behalf of its clients. Sullivan has more than 20 years experience in strategic marketing for consumer goods, sports and entertainment, with worldwide success in business development, promotions and brand management.

Prior to founding SSM, Sullivan was Director of Marketing for Kraft's Maxwell House Division, Director of Promotions for General Food and Vice President of Marketing for International Speedway Corporation. Sullivan has negotiated intellectual property rights agreements and developed marketing programs to support nearly every major sport including the NFL, NBA, MLB, USTA and the Olympics.
