Wilmington, DE (July 23, 2012) - Al Carter and Hugh Plumb are pleased to welcome a new co-primary sponsor, SceneTap. Starting Friday, July 27 at the inaugural Brickyard Sports Car Challenge at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, the SceneTap logo will be prominently displayed on the #45 SceneTap - B+ Foundation - Jetset Magazine Fall-Line Motorsports BMW M3 driven by Al Carter and Hugh Plumb. The drivers of the #45 SceneTap sponsored car are currently ranked third in the 2012 driver and team point standings and with three races to go in the series, Al Carter and Hugh Plumb are amongst the top contenders to win the Grand-Am Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge championship.

Technology-startup, SceneTap, offers a free iPhone and Android mobile and web-based nightlife application that answers the question “where should we go tonight?” The SceneTap app provides real-time information on the local nightlife scene via a free mobile and Web app. With a tap of a button, people can view how many people are at a venue, the male and female ratio, the average age of everyone inside, along with specials, events, social commentary, and more.

"We are excited and honored to join this wonderful team,” announced Joe Nolan, CEO of Eagle Technology Systems, angel investor and accelerator. “How perfect is it to help children and families in need and to watch the many contributors (young and not-so-young) live a Be Positive life" added Nolan.

With a presence already in Chicago, Austin, San Francisco, Milwaukee, Bloomington, Madison, Athens and Gainesville, SceneTap has more than 150,000 users and is looking to pass a quarter million this year. SceneTap is expected to launch its application in multiple markets in 2012, including Boston, Philadelphia, Los Angeles, San Diego, Atlanta, Miami and Phoenix.

Eagle Technology Systems recently launched a program under the “SceneTap Sports” label to adapt the SceneTap night life app for the motorsports industry. Soon racetracks, event promoters, sponsors, racing series will be able to benefit from using these Eagle Technology Systems advanced video and demographic tools and mobile app reporting to manage and grow their businesses.

“We are very excited about Eagle Technology Systems joining our program. I can't say enough about SceneTap coming on board, not only do we get a happening paint job, we get a great innovative partner in supporting our efforts with The B+ Foundation,” said Al Carter. “Our #45 SceneTap – B+ Foundation BMW is still in championship contention and Hugh Plumb and I are hoping to be the first Grand-Am drivers to kiss the bricks Friday.”

Eagle Technology Systems and SceneTap Sports will organize multiple events in connection with the Grand-Am racing series races in the markets where SceneTap is launching its app. The B+ Foundation was named official foundation of the SceneTap Sports program and fund raising events to benefit The B+ Foundation will be held at most SceneTap market launches.

“I couldn’t be more excited about the Scene Tap/B+ Foundation partnership,” announced Joe McDonough co-founder of the Andrew McDonough B+ Foundation. “Eagle Technology Systems and SceneTap are not only going to help generate much-needed funds for our battle against childhood cancers, but it has the potential to dramatically increase awareness of our Foundation and our mission. I am very optimistic that this is just the beginning of a long and mutually-beneficial partnership.”
