The Boys are Back in Town; Mattioli Cousins Revved Up for June 21st OH KONI Grand AM

Long Pond, PA (June 19, 2009): After yesterday's practice run for the June 21st, EMCO Gears Classic, at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, future NASCAR star, Chase Mattioli, and cousin, Nick Igdalsky, are confident that their #47 JBS KONI Mustang will be making an appearance to Victory Lane.

The boys placed 13th in Round 5 of Grand Am's KONI Challenge Series at Lime Rock Park on March 25th, and were set to compete in the GLEN.COM 200, at Watkins Glen International, in Watkins Glen, NY; however, conflicting race schedules thwarted their plans. Even after missing the last round of the competition, Chase and Nick are still in the top 15 in total team points. A strong showing at Mid-Ohio will allow the boys to ascend the ranks and climb into the top 10.

When asked about rejoining the KONI Grand Am, Chase said that, "I'm happy to be road racing again with Nick; especially at Mid-Ohio, which is such a driver friendly track".

Following his race in Mid-Ohio, Chase will be returning to the NASCAR Camping World East Series and compete in the June 26th, Heluva Good! Summer 125, at New Hampshire Motor Speedway, in Loudon, NH.
