GRAND AM DRIVER TO LEAD ST CLASS CHALLENGE

COLUMBIA, SC (July 25, 2006) -- Andy Brumbaugh will be competing in the Grand-Am Cup race July 27-29 at the Barber Motorsports Park as part of the Porsche 250 presented by Bradley Arant event. He will drive the ST class #62 Mazda RX-8 along with Billy Johnson for the ROAR Racing Division of NRG Motorsports Management.

"I am really looking forward to going back to Barber," said Brumbaugh. "I led the time sheets for most of the Grand Am Cup weekend here in 2004 driving for Team Lexus and I am looking to continue my success at this exciting and challenging track."

"We started to improve at Mid-Ohio so hopefully we can finish what we started here at Barber," said Andy. "It is always hard working with a new team but the bugs are starting to get worked out so it would be great to have a solid result to reward the team for all of their hard work."

Andy will also be spotting for the Riley-BMW Daytona Prototype of Southard Motorsports as driven by Shane Lewis and Craig Stanton.

Brumbaugh is the only American and the youngest driver ever to win the prestigious Canadian Formula Ford Championship. He is now racing sports cars full time and has driven Porsche, Lexus and Mazda cars in Grand Am Cup, both GS and ST classes. He has also raced a Porsche in the Grand Am Rolex series and was one of the two young American finalists invited to Germany to test for the Porsche Junior factory team.
