San Francisco, CA. (June 28) - Robert Orcutt, Scotts Valley, California resident will make his sports car racing debut at Daytona International Speedway on Thursday, June 29, in the Grand American Paul Revere 250.
Orcutt will drive one of two Racers Group entries. Entered in the #67 Porsche 996 GT3R with co-driver, Brad Wurtz he will run in the 70-lap, 250-mile Grand American Road Racing Association event, which will begin immediately following 8 p.m. NASCAR Winston Cup Bud Pole Qualifying for the July 1 running of the Pepsi 400.
Highlights of Orcutt's racing background include: Indylights, Star Formula Mazda, Kremer Porsche, Vintage racing, go-kart champion and leading driving instructor. Buckler and Colins will form the other Racers Group entry in the #66 Porsche 996 GT3R. They currently run second in Driver GT point and third in Team Owner points.
