DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (February 11, 2003) -- The Rolex Sports Car Series awards points to team owners based upon each individual car's finish in their respective class. Only teams holding membership in the Rolex Series Team Owner Program are eligible to earn points in the Team Owner Point Standings. The team points reflect the standings following the first race of the 12-race season.

The Rolex Sports Car Series awards points to manufacturers based upon their best finish in their respective class. In the Daytona Prototypes and SportsRacing Prototype II classes, manufacturer points are awarded for chassis and engine manufacturers separately. The manufacturer points reflect the standings following the first race of the 12-race season.
