WAITING HOMESTEAD... MY REMARKS
Hi all... it has been a while since I personally wrote on my website... the truth is that I'm too lazy and often preferred letting the great Alberto Brojanigo do everything: he worked all along to my web site.
Since when I signed the contract with the Cheever Racing team to race in Grand-Am I haven't had too much spare time: I travelled quite a lot between Europe and States for testing, meetings and promotional events.
In the weeks after the 24h of Daytona (that for us unfortunately was just a six hours.) the team has been very busy with the analysis of all parts that did not work properly and reconstructing a new front suspension that we had the chance to try out in occasion of the Homestead's tests. I have to say that the result has been encouraging: we still are a little bit behind in terms of pure speed, but at least the feeling with the car has improved a lot and we understood that the work we are committed to is going along the right direction. We keep now working on the mechanical development and for the Homestead's race, in two weeks time, we will have loads of new things on our car.
Everything else is fine: I spend my free time training and with my girlfriend. In the next months I will move to US and precisely to Miami Beach :) lol!!! I know that you are all envying me, but the real reason behind the move is to avoid part of the trans-oceanic trips that are exhausting. I will anyway come back to Europe from time to time to catch up with my friends and family.
Keep in touch guys, and follow me as much as you can!
