TRG East has submitted a late entry for the Rolex Sports Car Series race at Homestead-Miami Speedway this weekend, matching young driver talent with an already successful rookie team. TRG East owner Peter Baron will field the No. 61 Porsche 911 GT3 Cup car for Ryan Dalziel of Orlando, Fla., and Bryan Sellers of Sacramento, Calif., in the March 5 race on the 2.3-mile infield road course in Homestead, Fla.

TRG East scored a third-place GT finish in the Rolex 24 At Daytona on Feb. 6 -- the first race for the new team. Dalziel finished second in the Toyota Atlantic Championship in 2003 and 2004 after achieving success in British Formula Three, Formula Renault and Formula Vauxhall. Sellers also competed in the Atlantic series in 2004, after winning the 2003 Formula Ford Zetec championship with seven poles, eight wins and 10 podiums. The Homestead race will be the first sports-car start for both drivers.

"Since our podium finish at Daytona on our initial outing, we've had a lot of interest from drivers about potential opportunities at Rolex Series events later this year," Baron said. "We spent the last three weeks putting together a program that represents where we want to take TRG East, culminating in the agreement to put Bryan and Ryan in the car. They're the fastest, youngest guys around -- just like TRG East. They have proven their ability in the past and they have the talent to win future championships. We're thrilled they've chosen to run their first sports-car race with us."
