Bill Auberlen left Mexico City with the fastest GT lap of the race, and the entire Sigalsport BMW team is eager to show their true colors next Saturday at Homestead and is aiming for a GT podium finish for both cars.

"We made a lot of changes to the team after Daytona and now have recruited some good guys that are ready for the 2006 Rolex Series Challenge. We go to Homestead with the ambition to win, but first we want to make sure we have no mechanical malfunction and finish the race to advance in the points standing, which is the most important thing in the overall series big picture. We now have one car in the top ten. After this race we want to have two cars in the top ten. We know we can do it and I am confident we will" declared team owner and driver of No. 04 Sigalsport BMW, Gene Sigal. "We tested at Phoenix last week to prepare for the May race and were able to post a good lap time there. I am confident that Homestead may be the race where Sigalsport team finds its mark!" said Sigal.

The ambient temperature at Homestead will be in the 90s with a high humidity index. Sigalsport drivers should be in good shape during the race since one of Sigalsport BMW team's sponsors, GlycoMax, provides its revolutionary performance drink to the Sigalsport drivers. GlycoMax is the official Performance Drink of the Rolex Sports Car Series. Over the past few years, GlycoMax has been tested in many forms of racing. GlycoMax has proven health and performance benefits that can be demonstrated to the driver on the first day they use the product. The blood sugar stabilizing quality of GlycoMax allows a driver to stay energized and focused over long periods of exertion. Drivers who use GlycoMax have reported greater focus and consistency while on track. They feel stronger, faster and smarter!

The Grand Prix of Miami is scheduled to get the green flag at 6:30 PM on Saturday, March 25. Most of it will be a night race.
