Zogaib and Dalziel ready for Homestead sprint

Homestead, FL --(March 29, 2008)-- It's been a long time since the Rolex 24 At Daytona back in January, and the waiting has made Henri Zogaib anxious to get going this weekend as he teams with Ryan Dalziel in the No. 2 SAMAX Motorsport BMW at Homestead Miami Speedway. The entry, which sports a jaw-dropping new livery boasting the colors of Cigarette Racing Team and The Garage Miami, will start the race from the ninth row for round two of the 2008 Rolex Sports Car Series season.

The weekend has gotten off to a quick start, as SAMAX Motorsport has shown a quick adaptation to the teams new BMW powerplant, setting a time in Thursday's practice that was even quicker than the pole-winning car performed on Friday afternoon and setting top ten times again in practice on Friday. The race will see 46 GT and Daytona Prototype class machines on track at the same time, making for some very heavy traffic come race time.

"I push myself very hard no matter what I am doing, and I'm really looking forward to the start of this race tomorrow," said Zogaib. "It's been fantastic to have my friends from The Garage and Cigarette Racing Team here today, and I know we'll have an even bigger group tomorrow. Hopefully Ryan and I can deliver a good result for them tomorrow. I'm very happy with the team and tomorrow, I will just try to stay clear of the GT traffic early in the race, set a good pace and then to have the car in a good position before turning it over to Ryan for the finish."
