THE GORSLINE COMPANY SWEET 16 AWARD TO LAUNCH AT VIR GRAND-AM EVENT THIS WEEKEND

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (April 22, 2009) - The Gorsline Company, a pioneer in the business of providing insurance to high-risk professionals, is launching The Gorsline Company Sweet 16 Award this weekend at the Bosch Engineering 250 at Virginia International Raceway, the second event of the 2009 Grand-Am Rolex Sports Car Series. The award will continue to be presented throughout the 2009 season.

The Gorsline Company initiated this award in an effort to recognize its non-factory-supported team customers whose owners and drivers have a passion for Grand-Am competition but do not necessarily reach the podium at every event.

A $300 cash award will go to the 16th-place team finisher in the Daytona Prototype category that is still running at the end of the race and meets the eligibility requirements.

"We at The Gorsline Company are champions of our customers who compete at every level in all forms of motorsports," said John Gorsline, CEO of The Gorsline Company. "This gives us an opportunity to recognize our clients and reward those teams and drivers who are often overlooked or under-supported but who are no less driven to achieve greatness."

Daytona Prototype and GT class cars are required to wear The Gorsline Company decal on both sides of the car in the location for contingency sponsor decals per the Grand-Am rule book. The prize winner must also hold a Gorsline Company insurance policy.

Should the 16th-place finisher not meet the eligibility requirements, then the cash prize will be awarded to the 16th-place finisher in the GT class. If neither team meets the eligibility requirements, then the $300 cash award will be rolled over to the next event and will continue until someone wins the award.

For 16 years, The Gorsline Company has awarded the prestigious Gorsline Scholarship, an honor presented to an up-and-coming race-car driver each year who displays the attributes of a future champion.

"We embrace our clients and do absolutely the best job we possibly can for them," added Gorsline. "Our company's mission is simple. We are diligent about keeping in touch with our clients to make sure we are still accomplishing this objective. We strive every day to better ourselves to earn our clients' faith, trust and confidence."

The Gorsline Company, headquartered in Rochester, N.Y., pioneered the business of providing insurance for high-risk professionals. The company specializes in racing drivers and owners, providing custom designed insurance packages and full financial planning services.
